2 Days Lake Mburo Escape Wildlife Safari Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and Boat Safari
The safari day begins with an early pick up by our Untamed Uganda safari guide from Kampala/Entebbe for a transfer to Lake Mburo NP. You will have a coffee/photo stop at the Equator crossing thereafter, drive on for a hot lunch at our lodge. We will then head out for an afternoon boat safari on Lake Mburo from which the park is named, where you will come up close to ponds of hippos, Nile crocodile and other wildlife as they come to drink on the lake. the woodland edged banks host a characterful list of birdlife including African Fish Eagle, Hammerkop and more.
After a 2-hour boat ride, we will take safari drive through the woodlands on our way to the lodge to encounter a variety of wildlife and game. Dinner and Overnight at Rwakobo Rock Lodge on FB
Day 2: Guided Nature Walking Safari in Lake Mburo and Transfer to Kampala
This morning we will head out early for a morning guided nature walk, or an optionally biking tour across the woodlands of Lake Mburo, coming up close to herds of zebras, giraffes, impalas, and more wildlife. A guided walking safari offers an insightful and in-depth wilderness expereince where you encounter wildlife on foot. You get to listen to a varied natural calls and sounds, smell fresh air and identify various tracks and markings in the natural world.
After the walk we drive on to Kampala/Entebbe with a lunch break on the road.
